ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

 


 

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
DEADLINE: Tuesday, May 1, 2012

Details of abstract submission for paper or poster presentation:

  1. Title of abstract in capital letters with no abbreviations
  2. Indicate presenter’s (and co-presenter, if any) name (including title and credentials) and underline
  3. Indicate any co-authors and their credentials
  4. Abstract must be single spaced and be a maximum of 250 words.
  5. Abstract should include statement of purpose, methodology, results, and conclusions.
  6. Eligible reports include innovative or original research, in progress or complete, relevant to primary health care. Abstracts of previously published research are not acceptable.
  7. Researchers whose abstract(s) have been selected for presentation will be notified by email by May 15th, 2012.
  8. Researchers whose oral paper sbmissions are accepted will be:
    • Required to bring a copy of their Powerpoint presentation on a memory stick to upload on the laptop provided in each presentation room.
    • Time allotted for oral presentations will be 15 minutes (10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes fo discussion)
  9. Accepted poster submissions:
    • Will need to be installed prior to 8:45 am at the conference.
    • The poster board dimensions available to you are 8 feet wide by 4 feet high.
    • You will be expected to present a 90 second overview of your poster to the conference audience.
  10. Limited travel grants will be available for students/residents.
  11. All presenters are expected to register and pay the conference registration fee at a reduced rate. .

  • Your abstract will be sent to the conference planners. You will be contacted confirming receipt of your submission by email.
  • As the conference date approaches you will be sent details regarding the time and location of your presentation.
