GUIDELINES FOR POSTERS/PRESENTATIONS

 

Primary Health Care Research Day- Trillium 2013

1. POSTER INFORMATION:
   • If you are presenting a poster, the poster board dimensions are:
     6 feet wide by 4 feet high.
     
     
   • As a poster presenter you will be expected to present a one minute overview of your poster to the conference audience.
     
     
   • Session I posters will need to be installed:
     June 19th prior to 8:45 am in DOCKSIDE 9
     
     
   • Session II posters will need to be installed:
     June 19th during lunch in DOCKSIDE 9
     
     
2. PRESENTATION INFORMATION:
   • If you are presenting an oral presentation you are required to bring a copy of your PowerPoint presentation on a USB flash key (memory stick).
     
     
   • The laptop provided will be running Windows XP or higher and Microsoft Office 2010 PowerPoint and Word. This means you will NOT have to bring your laptop to present your work.
     
     
   • After you pick up your registration package please go to the room you will be presenting in and upload your presentation before the start of the session.
     
     
   • Please note that there will NOT be internet access within the presentation rooms. Be sure to download any materials needed prior to the presentation. Please email Sandi at phcs@uwo.ca if you require sound with your presentation.
     
     
   • If you created your presentation on a MAC computer, please make sure that your file will run on Windows XP using Microsoft Office 2010. We encourage you to test this on a PC running Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2010 before you come to Trillium.
